• CIE - The International Commission on Illumination - also known as the CIE from its French title, the Commission Internationale de l´Eclairage - is devoted to worldwide cooperation and the exchange of information on all matters relating to the science and art of light and lighting, colour and vision, and image technology.

• Florida Photonics Cluster - The Florida Photonics Cluster was formed to support the growth and profitability of the photonics industry through the strength of a unified voice, and is open to companies and organizations that provide optics and photonics products or services. The FPC focuses on the collaboration of various companies and organizations, and is dedicated to enhancing the industry by bringing together the knowledge, expertise, and service that each company or organization has to offer the cluster.

• National Institute of Standards and Technology - An agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce's Technology Administration, NIST's primary mission is to promote U.S. economic growth by working with industry to develop and apply technology, measurements, and standards.

• Optical Society of America - The Optical Society of America was organized to increase and diffuse the knowledge of optics, pure and applied, to promote the common interests of investigators of optical problems, of designers, and of users of optical apparatus of all kinds, and to encourage cooperation among them.

• SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering - SPIE is a non-profit professional society dedicated to advancing research, engineering, and applications in optics, photonics, imaging, and electronics.

• The Institute of Physics - The Institute of Physics is a leading scientific society. We are a charitable organisation with a worldwide membership of more than 50,000, working together to advance physics education, research and application.
